What Mistakes Stop Websites from Ranking on Google?

Website loading speed and technical SEO improvements for better Google rankings

Most websites don’t rank for one simple reason: the basics are weak.

First mistake—the page has no clear job. One page tries to talk about everything: services, company story, keywords, offers. Google gets confused. Even users get confused. One page should answer one main question properly.

Second—content written just to fill space. Many sites have blogs that say the same thing as every other blog. Safe sentences. No examples. No real point. Google has seen it a thousand times, so it doesn’t push it up.

Third—slow and messy websites. Heavy images, too many plugins, poor mobile layout. If your page loads like a patient file in an old clinic system, people leave. Google notices that.

Fourth—wrong keywords. Some businesses target big keywords like “best digital marketing company” when they should start with real searches people use, like “AC repair in Mogappair” or “CA near me”. Intent matters.

And one more—no consistency. SEO is not a one-week job. If you stop, restart, change everything, results keep going back to zero.

Fix these and ranking becomes realistic.
